What to do
1. Mix all ingredients together in a bowl into a stiff dough.
2. Sprinkle flour in the bottom of the small square container.
3. Press a portion of the dough into the bottom of the
container until it's about
1/4" -1/2" think. Be sure to press all of the edges &
the corners to get the best shape.
4. In 1 fast motion, turn the container upside down on
to a piece of parchment or wax paper. Fix any corners or edges to maintain
the square shape.
* Note
You can also roll out the dough and cut with cookie cutters.
5. Use the oval measuring spoons for the top decorations.
Try the 1/4 teaspoon and the 1/2 teaspoon. Sprinkle the spoon with floor
before making each decoration. Fill the spoon with the dough firmly
packed. Tap the spoon upside down to get the piece to release. Lightly
wet the flat edge before placing it on the square. The water will glue
it into place.
6. Allow the potpourri tile to air dry on the top 1st.
This will take about 24 hours. Carefully turn over the tile, and allow
the bottom to air dry. You might get a crack or two on the bottom.
7. Roll the remaining dough into small balls. Put them
in a bowl after they are dry.
Enjoy the scent.
