Our Citronella Essential oil is steam distilled from a species of lemongrass. This oil comes from Ceylon. The plant and oil are popular because of its insect repelling properties, which now experts are claiming that to be a myth. However, I don't believe the experts on this because I have used citronella candles with much success. Sri Lanka range of India has used this oil for centuries as an antiseptic, antifungal, and antimicrobial. 

The scent is popular in shampoos, and soaps as an anchor and for minor skin irritations. 

Make your own bug spray..

Mix together in a 4 ounce spray bottle

2 oz of Witchhazel
2 oz of Distilled Water
10 drops of Citronella essential oil
10 drops of Lemongrass essential oil
10 drops of Lavender essential oil
5 drops of Patchouli essential oil
5 drops of Peppermint
5 drops of Lemon Eucalyptus essential oil

Shake well and spray pants, shoes, clothing, skin
