Description
Hey ... got a clogged up lymphatic system? Dear old timer Red Root to the rescue. This root was an American favorite 100 years ago or more. Its use dates back to the Revolutionary War. When Chinese tea became to expensive during the war ( like $200.00 a pound) the folks turned to this bush, boiled the leaves and called it New Jersey Tea.
Today we use the root. You often see Red Root mixed with Burdock, Violet leaf, Echinacea, or Red Clover. All these herbs have been used to clear the lymphatic system. Native Americans used this root to clean wounds and to clean sores from venereal disease.
